Location of the Betania Monastery
Betania is located southwest of Tbilisi (16 km), in the valley of the Vere River, on the right side. This beautiful monument of Georgian architecture is sheltered in the heart of the mountains covered with forest, it is the nativity scene of the Most Holy Mother of God, diverted from the noise and vanity of the world.
